Our Story

Roadrunner 3D is a subsidiary of Westwind. We’re expanding our history of connecting people with technology into a vision of helping fuel innovation in our region and our nation.

Our digital manufacturing center removes the barriers to fabricating products, creative productions, or parts for ongoing needs. We deliver anything from quick-turn prototypes to repeatable, production-grade manufacturing for end-use parts. Roadrunner can help with engineering and design or focus on perfecting the real-world production of innovations brought to us. By offering low-volume production, we’re able to reduce the risks and inventory costs associated with pushing limits to create the best possible product.

Groundbreaking HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) 3D printing technology is the backbone of our services. MJF leapfrogs decades-old 3D printing technology, offering the flexibility to mix materials and produce parts 10 times faster than traditional manufacturing. It’s also the most sustainable process, recycling up to 80% of unused materials.

The base material is high-grade PA-12 thermoplastic nylon, perfect for complex designs and durable, high-density outputs. All of the HP products and materials we use are:
